Before & After School Care
February 2012 Vacation Camp
Todd, Adam and Danny will be offering Thacher Lower El, Upper El and Adolescent students a vacation camp over the winter break (February 20-24). We'll have indoor and outdoor activites such as basketball, floor hockey, touch football and soccer. Students may also choose art time, reading, play creating and music appreciation. Price is $55.00 per day or $250.00 for all 5 days.

Aftercare Overview
Thacher Montessori School provides Early Morning Care from 7:00 am until the beginning of the children's classroom day.
The children play board games, work with crafts, or read during this low-key early morning time. At the end of the early morning period, a trained staff member escorts the young children to their respective classrooms while the older, more independent students go to their respective classrooms on their own.
The Aftercare Program begins at the end of the regular school day.
There are two components to the Aftercare Program: the first, which lasts until 4:45 pm, consists of special, structured programs, clubs, sports activities, outside playtime, and reading (or being read to) while the second, from 4:45 to 6:00 pm, is more low-key with opportunities for reading, relaxing, or physical activity. Thacher provides a nutritious snack to each child shortly after children arrive in the Aftercare Program.

Thacher After School Enrichment
Lower Elementary LEGO Engineering
Students will build cities, bridges, and motorized cars/planes with the guidance of a Play-Well Engineering specialist. Runs 9/28 - 12/14 on Wednesdays. For details and registration click here.
