A New Mission Statement,
(Alumni Included)
(from the premier issue of
Alumni Branching Out)
Thacher Montessori School has a new mission statement. The statement was revised at a strategic planning retreat (see Board News, page 6) to more accurately reflect the spirit of the school. As we take the first steps towards a comprehensive alumni program, I invite you to read the new mission statement and see that you are included in our “collaborative learning community”. The premier issue of Alumni Branching Out is the beginning of a program of alumni opportunity and participation that will enhance the entire Thacher community.

Our Mission
Thacher Montessori School is a diverse, collaborative learning community. Through the Montessori method, we embrace each child’s unique potential and cultivate a passion for discovery. We empower children to achieve academic excellence and become confident, compassionate, and proactive members of the world community.
