Montessori Viewed as Systems Thinking: An Approach for Our Times

Thursday, October 13 | 7:00-9:00 pm

Thacher Montessori School
1425 Blue Hill Avenue
Milton, MA 02186

Reception and refreshments following the talk.

Each child brings to the classroom unique characteristics, and Montessori schools provide the community for each individual to experience social, emotional, moral, and cognitive perspectives supporting a joyful and meaningful context for learning. The challenge of the educator is to guide the emergence of a fully developed and self-directed human being who understands and interacts with the world as an interrelated systems whole.

Here is a chance to see, from a modern scientific vantage point, what underlies the successive prepared environments of Montessori schools for children from birth to 18 years.

This Thacher Speaker Series event is open to the public. Suggested donation: $10. Please reserve a seat. RSVP to dsmith@thacherschool.org or 617-361-2522 x11.
